All high school students are encouraged to attend on and off campus college visits and presentations. Below is a list of college presentations scheduled at Arete Prep. Off campus college fairs, breakfasts and presentations are listed at the bottom of this page for students and their parents. Historically Black Colleges & Universities Fair

  • Date: Wednesday, September 25, 2019 – 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
    Location: Phoenix College, 1202 W Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85013
    Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is a supporter of Historically Black Colleges and Universities and each year Delta Beta Omega co-hosts with the Phoenix College NAACP/Black Student Union a fair for hundreds of valley students, their parents, counselors and advisors. Workshops are given to address many of the issues that these future students will face. College recruiters and alumni from HBCU’s are also in attendance providing information about the institutions. NACAC Phoenix Performing and Visual Arts College Fair

  • Date:        Monday, October 21, 2019 @ 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Utah State University- USU Coming to You– Wednesday, October 23, 2019 in Gilbert, AZ

  • Come and learn about admissions, scholarships, activities, student life, eat Aggie Ice Cream and more! Utah State University representatives will be available to answer your questions.
  • Seniors: Be sure to bring an official copy of your high school transcript and SAT/ACT scores. Representatives will be reviewing student information and awarding academic scholarships to student who have applied BEFORE the event. Use code “ARIZONA19” to waive 50% off the application fee. Code expires October 23.

Association of American Medical Colleges- Minority Student Medical Career Fair– Saturday November 9th, 2019 in Phoenix, AZ

  • Primarily geared towards people from undeserved and diverse communities, we welcome the participation of all high school and college students interested in medicine and the biomedical sciences. Attendees will get the opportunity to meet admissions and program directors from U.S. medical school, hear panel discussion about the pathways to becoming a physician or medical researchers, participate in hands-on medical and health activities and participate in round table discussions with current medical school students.
